Admission Notice for Masters in Japanese Studies for July 2015 session at Japan Study Center, Dhaka University
Applications are invited from intending candidates for admission into the “Masters in Japanese Studies” (July, 2015 Session). This program offers extensive courses on Japan’s politics, economy, society and culture. The functional competence in Japanese Language will also be provided. Successful completion of this program will enable the students for PhD in Japanese Studies at home or abroad.
The application criteria and procedures are given below:
- Applicants having at least 2nd class (CGPA of at least 2.50 out of 4.00) Bachelor (Hons) Degree or 2nd class Bachelor Degree in Pass Course with 2nd class Masters degree in any discipline may apply. Applicants having any third division/ class in academic life can not apply.
- The Applicants will have to collect the prescribed application form from the office of the Japan Study Center (JSC) on payment of TK 1,000.00 (One Thousand only) during the working hours. The last date of submission of application is 29 July, 2015.
- The Admission test will be held on 31 July, 2015 from 10 AM – 11 AM at the Arts Building of Dhaka University.
- The selection of students will be made on the basis of performance in the aritten test and Viva-voce.
