AIA The Archaeology of Portugal Fellowship

Archaeological Institute of America (AIA) offers The Archaeology of Portugal Fellowship to support projects pertaining to the archaeology of Portugal, to be conducted between July 1 of the award year and the following June 30. These include, but are not limited to, research projects, colloquia, symposia, publication, and travel for research or to academic meetings for the purpose of presenting papers on the archaeology of Portugal. AIA fellowship funds may not be used for institutional overhead, institutional administrative recovery costs, or institutional indirect costs.

Study Subjects and Level:

Fellowship is provided for projects pertaining to the archaeology of Portugal. The fellowship is obtainable for undertaking a research project.

Eligibility:

Portuguese, American, and other international scholars are invited to apply. To be eligible, applicants must be members of the AIA at the time of application and until the end of the fellowship term.

Scholarship Open for:

Portuguese, American and other international scholars (members of the AIA at the time of application and until the end of the fellowship term) can apply for this Archaeology fellowship.

Scholarship Duration:

To support projects pertaining to the archaeology of Portugal, to be conducted between July 1 of the award year and the following June 30.

Scholarship Value:

Awards range from $2,000 to $8,000 ($7,500 is the current maximum). AIA fellowship funds may not be used for institutional overhead, institutional administrative recovery costs, or institutional indirect costs.
