Admission notice for fall semester 2013 of Bachelor Degree programs at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST)
Applicants are invited for admission into the Bachelor Degree programs in fall-2013semester at AUST. Applicants passing HSC or equivalent exam in 2013 or 2012 and willing to get admission to the following Bachelor Degree Programs will have to apply through SMS & Web-based systems using ‘Teletalk Mobile’ from 18 August 2013 to 07 September 2013. Applicants must follow the detailed application procedures available in the University Website (www.aust.com). Per application fee is Tk. 400/-
Applicants passing Diploma (from BTEB) or GCE A-level or equivalent examination in 2013 or 2013 and willing to get admission in Bachelor Degree Programs, will collect Prescribed Application Forms from the office of the Registrar of AUST on any working day from 18 August 2013 between 10:00 am and 3:30 pm (except Friday & Saturday) on payment of Tk. 400/- and submit the filled in Application Forms to the same office within 07 September 2013 by 3:30 pm.

- B. Sc. in Civil Engineering (CE)
- B. Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
- B. Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE)
- B. Sc. in Textile Engineering (TE)
- B. Sc. in Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE)
- B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (ME)
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Minimum qualifications for application for Engineering Programs:
For online Applicants:
- HSC (Science) with Math, Physics, Chemistry
- GPA in HSC should be minimum 3.5 (with additional subject).
- Sum of GPA of HSC and SSC should be minimum 8.0 (with additional subject).
For Diploma and GCE O & A level or equivalent Applicants:
Diploma in Architecture/Engineering (from BTEB) or its equivalent with minimum equivalent GPA of 3.5 or GCE O level or its equivalent (with at least 5 subjects including Math, Physics, Chemistry and English) and GCE A-level or its equivalent in Math, Physics, Chemistry with minimum equivalent GPA of 3.5. Sum of equivalent GPA should be minimum 8.0 in (GCE O + A level) or in (SSC + Diploma)
Minimum qualifications for application for BBA Program:
For online Applicants:
- HSC from any discipline
- GPA in HSC should be minimum 3.0 (with additional subject).
- Sum of GPA of HSC and SSC should be minimum 7.0 (with additional subject).
For Diploma and GCE O & A level or equivalent Applicants:
Diploma in any discipline (from BTEB) or its equivalent with minimum equivalent GPA of 3.0 or GCE O level or its equivalent in at least 5 subjects and GCE A-level or its equivalent in three subjects with minimum equivalent GPA of 3.0. Sum of equivalent GPA should be minimum 7.0 in (GCE O + A level) or in (SSC + Diploma)
The admission will be done from the merit list, prepared on the basis of GPA obtained in SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations. Details are available in the University website. General merit list will be displayed on the Notice Board and the University Website on 14.09.2013 along with instructions concerning the final selection of the candidates and choice of program to be pursues. All the classes for Fall Semester may start from 26 October, 2013.
