Admission notice for the academic year 2013 at International Maritime Academy
International Maritime Academy invites application from Bangladeshi male nationals for enrollment in the above course. Candidates must comply with the following:
- Age: Below 21 years on 31st December, 2013
- Height: Minimum 1.60 m (5 feet 3 inches)
- Swimming & Physical Condition: Perfect health & eyesight; able to swim & pass standard swimming test
- Educational Qualification: Passed SSC & HSC or equivalent examination with minimum GPA 3.5 in each with 60% marks in Physics & Math and 50% marks in English OR Passed ‘O’ level in 5 subjects including Mathematics and Physics and ‘A’ level with Physics & Math with minimum ‘C’ grade in both.
- Course Duration: Two years Theoretical training in Class, one year Practical training (with salary) in Merchant ships.
