Invitation of Application for Japanese Grant Aid for Human Resource Development Scholarship (JDS) 13th batch in Bangladesh.
Applicants are invited from Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Cadre officials and Bangladesh Bank Class 1 officers to study masters program in Japan.
General information about the scholarship:
- Degree: Master’s Degree (Two year courses) in seven universities of Japan
- Language of Instruction: English
- Maximum number of Scholarship: 15 (fifteen)
- Expenses: JDS covers full tuition fees to university, living expenses, air ticket, research, other expenses as per JDS Rules and Guidelines
Areas of Study:
Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Cadre officials can apply for:
- Development of Capacity for Public Administrative Government
- Development of Capacity for Economics Planning and Policy
- Development of Legal Capacity and Policy
- Development of Capacity for Rural Planning and Policy
- Development of Capacity for Public Finance and Investment Management
Bangladesh Bank Class-1 officers can apply for:
- Development of Capacity for Economics Planning and Policy
- Development of Capacity for Public Finance and Invest Management
Qualification:
- Applicants to be confirmed in the service and should have 2 years of work experience by March 31, 2014
- Bangladeshi nationals below 40 years of age as on April 1, 2014 (Born on/after April 2, 1974)
- Completed 16 years school education with at least Bachelor’s Degree

Selection Procedures:
- Documents Screening by Universities
- IELTS & Math Test (for reference purpose only)
- Technical Interview by Japanese University Professor in Dhaka
- Comprehensive Interview by JDS Operating Committee in Dhaka
- Selection results will be informed from JICE JDS project office only
