To celebrate the University’s research successes, the University of Hull is offering 20 full-time UK/EU PhD Scholarship or International fee Bursaries for candidates applying for the areas within the Research Themes, including the areas.
Study Subject:
Proposals on any topic within the domain of ethics and social justice are welcome. Proposals for PhD projects which will result in a contribution to knowledge in the following areas will be welcomed:
- Consumption;
- Criminalization and Punishment;
- Education and Social Justice;
- Environmental Ethics;
- Forced Marriage;
- Global Slavery;
- Humanitarian Logistics;
- Liberty and Security;
- Medical Ethics;
- Migration;
- Technology, Innovation and Ethics;
- The Ethics of Marketing.
Eligibility:
- UK/EU or International fee Bursaries for candidates applying for the areas within the Research Themes, including the areas.
- To be eligible for these awards, applicants must demonstrate in their proposal that their research draws upon insights from more than one discipline. Supervision will be provided jointly by a minimum of two researchers from different disciplines.
- Applicants will be expected to hold a minimum of a UK upper second class Honors degree, or equivalent, in an appropriate discipline.
Scholarship Open for: UK/EU or international students can apply for the scholarships.
Number of Scholarship: 20 Scholarships will be offered.
Scholarship Duration: Scholarships will be offered for three years.
Scholarship Value: The scholarships will provide £13,726 in 2014/15.
