University of Leicester is offering Open Scholarships for International Students. The Open Scholarship Scheme is only open to applicants already holding an offer (conditional or unconditional) to study for a degree program at the University of Leicester. Candidates for Open Scholarships must be classified by the University as international students for fees purposes.
Study Subjects and Level:
Scholarships are awarded to study any of the courses offered by the University of Leicester. The Scholarships are available for studying taught-masters degree at University of Leicester.
- The Open Scholarship Scheme is only open to applicants already holding an offer (conditional or unconditional) to study for a degree program at the University of Leicester.
- Candidates for Open Scholarships must be classified by the University as international students for fees purposes.
- For Open Scholarships, candidates must not be in receipt of a full scholarship (tuition fees and living costs) from any other sources. Students may only receive one partial scholarship from the University, whether it is an Open or Department/ College scholarship. Students with partial scholarships from other sources will be considered.
- Open Scholarships are awarded in the form of a reduction in tuition fees payable.
- These scholarships are not available for distance learning students.
Scholarship Open for: International students can apply for these scholarships.
Number of Scholarships: 20 scholarships will be offered.
Scholarship Duration: Scholarships will be offered for one year.
Scholarship Value:
The value of each scholarship is £3,500 GBP. Open Scholarships are awarded in the form of a reduction in tuition fees payable.
Selection Criteria:
Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit.

All applicants should download the application form and submit this with the necessary supporting documents directly to scholarships-at-le.ac.uk. Applications must complete and received by the scholarships team before the application deadline in order to be considered.
