Q Link Wireless Scholarship Program is open for current college students and graduating high school students. The scholarship amount covers tuition, books and other educational expenses. American citizens are encouraged to apply. Funds are provided by Q Link Wireless and are made payable to the recipient’s approved college or university.
Study Subjects and Level:
scholarship is provided to learn any one of the courses obtainable at any accredited college or university within the United States. The Scholarship is obtainable for current college students and graduating high school students to enroll in full time or part time undergraduate study at any accredited college or university within the United States.
Candidates to the 2014 Q Link Wireless Scholarship Program should fulfill the following criteria:
- Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in full time or part time undergraduate study at any accredited college or university within the United States.
- Candidate must have a cumulative high school grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4-point scale.
- Must be an American citizen or hold a valid student visa.
Scholarship Open for:
American citizen or student who holds a valid student visa can apply.
Scholarship Duration:
Winner will get a one-time scholarship. Funds are provided by Q Link Wireless and are made payable to the recipient’s approved college or university and mailed directly to the college or university designated by the recipient.
Scholarship Value:
Winner will receive a one-time $1,000 college scholarship to be applied to qualified expenses, including graduate or undergraduate tuition, fees, books and on-campus room and board for the 2014-2015 academic school year.
Selection Criteria:
All essays will be reviewed by Q Link Wireless and will be chosen based on originality, thoughtfulness and insight. The winner will need to provide a copy of their high school or college transcript and a high resolution head shot photograph of themselves.
Notification:
The scholarship recipient will be notified by phone or email by May 1, 2014. If the winner does not reply within 14 days of contact a new winner will be chosen and awarded the scholarship.
How to Apply?
Interested and qualified students must submit an essay answering the following question in order to be considered: Why are government benefit programs (Lifeline Assistance Program, Food Stamps, Medicaid, etc) important resources for helping people with financial difficulties? What can we do to improve the effectiveness of these programs? Essays must be a minimum of 500 words in length and a maximum of 1,000 words. Each applicant may only submit one essay for consideration. Applicants may submit their essay to scholarship-at-qlinkwireless.com along with a cover letter including your: legal name, mailing address, telephone number, a brief biography and the name of the school the applicant is enrolled to.
