A Successful event of StartUp RU in collaboration with RUMUNA took places at the Central cafeteria on 16 June, 2014 (Monday). with MrTarek Mahmud, The resource person of this event, shares his glorious journey to the path of UN and his experiences with the participants.
Mr Tarek Mahmud, who has been working in UNDP Afghanistan as a Researcher, Rule of Law at Kabul, Afghanistan and also has worked at United Nations Development Programme in Bangladesh as a Field Officer/Legal Reform Officer at Dhaka, Bangladesh, says that the Students of Rajshahi University are “self-made” and he also thinks that the students here can cope up with new things easily and carries passion to learn. At the same time he points out that the students of Rajshahi University need to take care of their English speaking skill to secure them a better career.
He concludes this session with the hope that soon he will see students from Rajshahi University joining UN .He also expresses his appreciation both for StartUp RU and RUMUNA for organizing such an event.
