Rajshahi University Career Club (RUCC) going to arrange “Business & Social Case Competition – 2014” at Dean’s Complex, University of Rajshahi.
The program coordinator “Arsadur Rahman” is making his devotion to arrange this program with the help of all members from RUCC.
This competition is a product of bdjobs.com – RUCC Career Week 2014. This competition will be open for all the Bachelor/Masters students of Rajshahi City.
Participation procedure will be updated soon. 21June, 2014 at Dean’s Complex,University of Rajshahi RUCC will arrange a workshop on “How to Solve Real Case Scenario” first for interested students. In the mean time we are offering you to make team with 3 members at least not more than that.
Each Team registration fee will be BDTK 150/=
Prize will be distributed among the Winners.
Crest, certificate, free Membership of Rajshahi University Career Club and Prize Bond will distributed among CHAMPION, First and Second RUNNERS-UP teams.

Competition Details:
WORKSHOP:
workshop on how to analyze and solve a business and come up with effective recommendation based on a real business problem. The workshop will be conducted by industry experts and teachers. After the workshop, team will be directed for next course of action.The date of Workshop on Case ” How to solve Case” – 21st June, 2014
Round 1 :
Participating teams are required to submit a solution of a given case, within 1000 words, which is feasible and sustainable, and which could lead to continue of a successful business. The solution of the case can be recommendations of introducing new product or service that fulfills a market niche or an enhancement of an existing product or service that can create value, increase sales and market share or reduce costs and risk and many more which are relevant to the company and broadly to the global economy.
Team Registration will be closed in 22nd June, 2014 (11.59 PM) and The deadline for “Case Study Solve” submissions is June 23 (11.59 PM). Solution of the case should be written in English and limited to 1,000 words. Submissions will be screened by Judges, A minimum of 10 teams will be selected for the next round.
Round 2:
The PowerPoint presentation of top 10 team will be held in 25th June, 2014, The solution of the case must be prepared in PowerPoint and have to submit within a given time frame. Teams have to present their recommendation in front of a panel of judges and each team will get 10 minute to present and 5 minutes for question answer. Group champions will be announced on the closing ceremony of Career Week

Each team will be comprised of three enrolled undergraduate Business School students from the same university / institution. No alternates will be permitted.
