The Harold and Olga Fox Scholarship fund has been set up thanks to a recent bequest from the estate of Professor Harold Fox to Biological Sciences students.
Study Subjects and Level:
Scholarships are provided for pursuing BSc or MSci, degrees (Course Code C900 or C901 only).
These scholarships are obtainable for studying undergraduate and masters program.
Eligibility to apply:
To apply for these International Scholarships you must hold an offer of admission to study towards one of 3-year BSc or 4-year MSci, degrees.
Scholarship Open for:
UK/EU and International students can apply for these merit based scholarships.
Number of Scholarships:
Up to four merit based scholarships (one for overseas student and other three for UK/EU students) are available.
Scholarship Duration:
Scholarships will be awarded in each of the three or four years of the Scholar’s course, subject to satisfactory academic progress.
Scholarship Value:
The Harold and Olga Fox Scholarships will pay £8000 towards overseas fees or £5000 towards UK/EU fees in each of the three or four years of the Scholar’s course, subject to satisfactory academic progress.
Selection Criteria:
Entries will be awarded according to academic merit.
Notification:
The result will be announced in late August.

To apply for one of the Scholarships please submit following documents via post:
- Full Curriculum Vitae
- Covering letter explaining why you wish to study at UCL.
- An essay in English (approximately 1000 words) on any biological subject of your choice (eg. The importance of Biology in the 21st century.)
