UWS is delighted to announce ‘new course’ scholarships which are offered on a limited range of new Bachelor / Masters courses at UWS to celebrate their launch. These scholarships equate to a reduction of tuition fees to £5589 and £5280 (for lab-based and classroom-based courses respectively).
Study Subjects and Level:
Scholarships are obtainable for following programs:
- BA (Hons) English as a Second Language and BA Business and English Language;
- MSc course in Accounting / Financial Accounting / Management Accounting;
- MSc suite in Applied Social Sciences (with option pathways in Civil Society and Public Affairs / Criminal Justice / Applied Psychology / Global Social Work and Social Policy).
- These Scholarships are obtainable for studying undergraduate and postgraduate program.
Eligibility to Apply:
Applicants of all nationality are eligible to apply.
Number of Scholarships and Scholarship Value:
- 60 scholarships should be offered to target two new BA courses in English Language; BA (Hons) English as a Second Language and BA Business and English Language. These scholarships are targeted at partner institutions in the first instance, where English Language articulation is feasible – Tuition Fees £5280
- 30 scholarships should be offered to underpin recruitment to the new MSc course in Accounting / Financial Accounting / Management Accounting – Tuition Fees £5280
- 20 scholarships for the new MSc suite in Applied Social Sciences (with option pathways in Civil Society and Public Affairs / Criminal Justice / Applied Psychology / Global Social Work and Social Policy) – Tuition Fees £5280
You will also be eligible for a further 10% tuition fee discount if you opt to pay your tuition fee on or before enrolment (see Early Payment Incentive – Tuition Fees, below) and a further £1000 accommodation bursary (see International Accommodation Bursary, below) if you stay in university accommodation for each year of your studies. Finally, you may also be eligible for a 5% reduction in Accommodation fees if you pay these in full for the year (see Early Payment Incentive – Accommodation, below).
