Admission notice of Islamic University of Technology (IUT) for the academic year 2014-15.
Applications are invited from Bangladeshi nationals for admission to 4-Year Bachelor’s programmes in Engineering for the academic year 2014-2015.
Eligibility to apply:
Candidates for above programmes must have minimum GPA 4.5 in both SSC and HSC examinations. Candidates who passed ‘O’ Level and ‘A’ Level examinations must have scored minimum grade ‘B’ in each subject as detailed below –
- A-Level: Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
- O-Level: 5 Subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English plus one from remaining subjects with best grade.
- Candidates who passed HSC or A-level before 2013 are not eligible to apply.
Candidates will have to apply through SMS of Teletalk mobile system. Each candidate is required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Tk. 600 through Teletalk system.

Application close: 12 October, 2014
Admission test: 21 November, 2014 at 9.30 am
Candidates interested for admission to postgraduate and Technical Education programmes are required to apply directly to the Registrar, IUT in hard-copies only latest by 12 October, 2014. The application forms for these programmes can be downloaded from the website. Any decision regarding admission taken by the admission committee of IUT will be considered as final.
