Admission Notice of Master in Public Policy and Governance (MPPG) Program at North South University (NSU)
Key Features:
- This is a partnership program among North South University, University of Bergen, Norway Tribhuvan University, Nepal and University of Peradeniya, Srilanka
- This is two-year master degree program aimed at providing high quality research based education in public policy and governance
- Candidates selected must registrar as full-time students
- Each of the candidates finally selected will get full tuition waiver and other facilities (Allowance for thesis writing, library and computer lab facilities, field visit in a South Asian Country etc.)
- Total number of seats: 22. out of these, 20 with full tuition waiver (12 for Bangladesh, 5 for Nepal and 3 for Srilanka) and 2 with self-finance (open to all professional as well as fresh graduates)
- Eligible candidates: career civil servants, executives from NGOs, academics, researchers and fresh graduates.
- Admission test will be on English, General knowledge, analytical skills and basic mathematics.
General Prerequisites:
- 4-year Bachelor degree or 3-year Bachelor plus 1-year Master degree.
- At least 2nd Class in all exams or a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 4 point scale.
- Maximum age limit is 42 years (As on September 24, 2013)
Specific Prerequisites: (At the time of Admission)
- Minimum 2-year work experience in respective fields.
- Candidates selected must submit documents of leave of approval from their respective employers.
- Two letter of reference; one from the employer/immediate superior and the other from academic institution last attended.
For Self-Finance Category
- For professionals: Two letters of reference; one form the employer/immediate superior and the other from academic institution last attended.
- For fresh graduates: One letter of reference from the academic institution last attended.

Last Date for Submission of Application: 24 September, 2013
Admission Test: 27 September, 2013 at 3.30 – 5.30 pm
Class Starts: January, 2014
Application forms are available for Tk. 800 from Southeast Bank, Bashundhara Branch. One can also download application forms from the MPPG Website: www.mppg-nsu.org payment of Tk. 800 must be made with pay order during submission of application form.
