University of Surrey is delighted to announce that we are offering academic merit based scholarships of £2,000 to students from Bangladesh, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, Jordan, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey or Vietnam who have been offered a place on one Masters programmes in the Surrey Business School or School of Hospitality and Tourism Management starting September 2014.
Study Subjects and level:
Scholarship is provided for any program within the Surrey Business School or School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. The Scholarship is obtainable for studying master degree level at University of Surrey.
Eligibility:
Students from Bangladesh, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, Jordan, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey or Vietnam who have been offered a place on one our Masters programmes in the Surrey Business School or School of Hospitality and Tourism Management starting September 2014.
Scholarship Value:
The value of scholarship is £2,000. They also have additional £1000 awards available to highest-achieving students. These are normally for students who have achieved 1st class honours or the equivalent from their home country. Eligible students will be written to before the start of the programme notifying them of the additional £1,000 award. Please note this extra £1000 will be in addition to the £2000 scholarship mentioned above.
Selection Criteria:
Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit.
How to Apply?
If you are successful in gaining a place with university, they will write to you shortly after confirming your offer to let you know that you are eligible for our scholarship. Providing you accept our offer of a place and pay £2,000 towards your fees within six weeks of the offer of a scholarship and meet all the conditions of your offer, they will confirm your scholarship before the programmes start in September 2014. Please note that as long as you meet these conditions, there are no other criteria for you to complete.
