Sheridan College is inviting application for Entrance Scholarship. Applicants must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, Protected Person or a Landed Immigrant. Please note: International Students are not eligible to apply. One scholarship is offered.
Study Subjects and Level:
Scholarship is provided to learn any courses obtainable within the Faculty of Business at Sheridan College. The Scholarship is obtainable for studying undergraduate or postgraduate degree at Sheridan College in Canada.
Eligibility:
- Enrolled in an Undergraduate or Postgraduate program within the Faculty of Business
- Be a newcomer to Canada (defined as individuals who have resided in Canada for less than 24-months)
- Must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, Protected Person or a Landed Immigrant. Please note: International Students are not eligible to apply
- Good academic standing (2.0 GPA Diploma/Certificate or 2.4 GPA Baccalaureate)
- Demonstrate financial need (complete attached budget form)
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to program of study
Scholarship Open for:
Individuals who have resided in Canada for less than 24-months and Canadian Citizen can apply for this entrance scholarship.
Scholarship Value:
The value of scholarship is $1,000.
How to Apply?
Applicants should apply by post. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Supporting Documentation to be submitted with Application:
- A one or two page letter outlining your qualifications for this scholarship (i.e., your experience as a newcomer to Canada, your demonstration of strong commitment to your program of study, why you chose your program of study, why study in Canada, etc.)
- A copy of the front and back of your Permanent Resident Card/Canadian Immigration Record
- Any other optional documentation to assist the Selection Committee (i.e. certificates, awards, letters of recommendation, etc.)
