The Nestlé Scholarship for Women was first awarded in 1997 and was initiated by a group of IMD MBA participants who wanted to encourage women to take the MBA.
Study Subjects and Level:
Scholarship is awarded for MBA course at IMD College in Switzerland. The Scholarship is obtainable for studying master’s degree at IMD College in Switzerland.
Eligibility to Apply:
- Women candidates who have already applied to the full-time IMD MBA program and who demonstrate financial need.
- Employees of Nestlé and its subsiduaries are not elegible.
Scholarships open for:
Worldwide (preference given to developing countries)
Scholarship Value: CHF 25,000
Selection Criteria:
1) Acceptance into the IMD MBA Program
2) Submitting an essay discussing the issue:
“Many have argued that greater diversity in the Top Management team of an organisation is good for profits and customers. What would you recommend as ways to achieve greater diversity?”
(maximum 750 words)
