Santander International Scholarships support-high achieving students from Latin America, North America or Spain in their first year of study. The awards will be presented to eligible international students with the highest academic qualifications. Successful scholarship winners will be selected by the University of Lincoln’s International Office on application to the University.
Study Subjects and Level:
Scholarships are provided for BSc (Hons) Chemistry program or any other undergraduate program at the University of Lincoln. The Scholarships are available for studying undergraduate program.
- The Santander International Scholarships will be awarded to Latin American students in the first instance on the basis of academic performance. This will take account of grade point averages and (where relevant) portfolios of work
- Where four scholarships cannot be awarded on this basis, North American and Spanish students will be considered for eligibility
- To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be domiciled in the countries covered by the Santander Universities Global Division scheme.

Students of Latin America, North America or Spain can apply for these scholarships.
Number of Scholarship:
Four international scholarships will be offered. Two scholarships are available for eligible applicants from the BSc (Hons) Chemistry program and two for qualifying students on other undergraduate courses at the University of Lincoln in 2014.
Scholarship Duration:
The scholarships will be awarded for one year only.
Scholarship Value:
In September 2014 the scholarships will be allocated as follows:
- Two £5,000 scholarships will be available to qualifying applicants from the BSc (Hons) Chemistry program
- Two £5,000 scholarships will be available to qualifying applicants from any other undergraduate program at the University of Lincoln, with the exception of courses based in the Lincoln Business School
Selection Criteria:
Applications are sorted by academic achievement and considered initially by staff in the International Office. Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate exceptional academic achievement. Recipients of the Santander International Scholarship will be selected after assessment by the International Office on application to the University. The International Office will seek appropriate academic advice when selecting the recipients of the scholarships. Financial circumstances will not be taken into account.
How to Apply?
There is no separate application form. Students shall successfully apply for admission onto an undergraduate program at the University of Lincoln in the year of admission and shall receive and firmly accept an academic offer of a place. If the offer is conditional, the student will need to fulfill the terms of his/her offer in order to qualify for the scholarship.
