Scholarships for Sandwich PhDs in Piblic Health for Women in Bangladesh. As a part of the Next Generation of Public Health Experts Program, funded by USAID, James P. Grant School of Public Health (JPGSPH) at BRAC Institute of Global Health is offering support for sandwich PhDs targeted for women to become public health leaders. A sandwich PhD is one where the majority of work for a PhD would be done based in Bangladesh while the student is enrolled in a foreign university.
Why is JPGSPH Unique?
- Experimental learning, extensive field visits and problem solving teaching methods;
- A global classroom: over 300 students graduated from 23 countries in Asia, Africa, Australia, North and South Americas, and Europe
- Faculties from international universities like Heidelberg, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, George Washington, karolinska Institute, London SPH etc.
- Graduates have exciting careers in public health all over the world.
- MPH or Masters in relevant field with excellent academic records
- Significant research and work experience
- Proficiency in oral and written English
- An university that is interested in supporting a sandwich PhD with supporting documents
