The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Government of India offers scholarships to meritorious Bangladeshi nationals under the following scholarship schemes for the academic session 2015-16 to pursue various courses in India at the Under Graduate, Post-Graduate and PhD level, except in Medicine:
- Bangladesh Scholarship Scheme
- Commonwealth Scholarship Scheme
- India Scholarship Scheme
Candidates are required to have proficiency in English and should have secured minimum 60 percent marks or GPA 3 out of GPA 5 in the qualifying examination. The application forms for these scholarships along with further information / instructions may be downloaded from the website of the High Commission of India, Dhaka (www.hcidhaka.gov.in).
Candidates would have to download, fill (which should be typed and not hand written), sign the application form and e-mail it as a pdf document to the HCI, Dhaka (attedu@hcidhaka.gov.in), AHCI, Chittagong (consular@colbd.net) or AHCI, Rajshahi (hoc.rajshahi@mea.gov.in) along with other attachments.

However, hard copies of the application forms with supporting documents (duly certified) have to be submitted, in duplicate, at the time of interview along with 6 passport size photographs.
The last date for receipt of completed application forms at Dhaka, Chittagong and Rajshahi is January 10, 2015.
