The Government of India invites applications from eligible Bangladeshi nationals for admission to the following courses in India under Self-Financing Scheme for the academic session 2014-15:
i) MBBS / BDS;
ii) B.E / Diploma in Engineering
iii) B. Pharmacy / Diploma in Pharmacy
Candidates are required to have proficiency in English and should have secured minimum 50 percent marks in English in the qualifying examination as well as 60 percent marks separately in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (in case of B.E/Diploma in Engineering) or Physics, Chemistry and Biology i.e. Botany & Zoology (in case of MBBS/BDS/B. Pharmacy/ Diploma in Pharmacy). The application in forms and Instructions are available at: www.hcidhaka.gov.in.
Four complete sets of the duly filled-in application form along with copies of necessary certificates/documents attested by both Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Bangladesh and High Commission of India, Dhaka may be submitted on any working day (Sunday-Thursday) from 1200-1600 hrs from April 6-17, 2014 at Education Wing, High Commission of India, House No.2, Road No. 142, Gulshan-1, Dhaka-1212 (Tel: 9888789-91). Candidates are required to present their original certificates for verification at the time of submission of their application forms in person.
It may be noted that there is a likelihood of admission to these courses not taking place subject to the final decision of an ongoing litigation in the Supreme Court of India.
The last date of submission of completed applications is Thursday, April 17, 2014.
