Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) is making available a number of scholarships, each to the value of £2,500, to international students who enroll on our full-time undergraduate taught programs. There are also a number of scholarships, each worth £1,000, available to international students who enroll on our full-time, top-up undergraduate taught programs. A number of these awards, worth £3,000 each, are available to international students who enroll on our full-time postgraduate taught programs.
Study Subjects and Level:
Scholarships are awarded to study any of the courses offered by the Manchester Metropolitan University in UK. The scholarships are available for studying undergraduate and postgraduate degree level at Manchester Metropolitan University in UK.
- To be eligible for VC International Scholarship applicants must have accepted an unconditional or conditional offer for a course at MMU. Please note that if you have not applied for a course of study at MMU, we will not be able to process your application.
- Scholarships are available for new MMU students only who are classed as overseas students and are required to pay the full overseas tuition fees. Current MMU students are not eligible for the scholarships.
- Applicants must hold an unconditional or a conditional firm offer for a course at MMU.
For undergraduate students:
- are an international student (classified as ‘overseas’ for tuition fee purposes)
- and have an offer of a place on a undergraduate taught course at MMU for September 2014 entry
- and are not currently registered on an undergraduate course at MMU.
For postgraduate students:
- are an international student (classified as ‘overseas’ for tuition fee purposes)
- and have an offer of a place on a postgraduate taught course at MMU for September 2014 entry or January 2015 entry
- and are not currently registered on a postgraduate course at MMU.
Scholarship Open for: International students can apply for these scholarships.
Scholarship Duration: Scholarships will be offered for one year.
Scholarship Value:
- for undergraduate students: each to the value of £2,500.
- for postgraduate students: £3,000 each.
Selection criteria:
These scholarships will be awarded by the VC International Scholarship Committee on the basis of academic merit and outstanding personal profile as evidenced in a motivation letter.
Notification:
Students will be notified if their application has been successful in August 2014 for courses starting in September 2014, and December 2014 for courses starting in January 2015.

Application Deadline:
For both undergraduate and postgraduate courses starting in September 2014, the deadline for receipt of applications is 30th June 2014. For postgraduate courses starting in January 2015, the deadline for receipt of applications is 15th November, 2014.
