Visa Requirements:
For an Irish visa a student requires the following to be submitted:
- Valid passport.
- A letter of Acceptance from the college or university specifying the course and duration of the program. The program should have minimum 15 hours day time study each week. Also a fees receipt which is important as it shows that the student has taken the granted admission.
- If the college has taken out medical insurance on your behalf, details of this must be contained in this letter of acceptance.
- Testimonials or certificates are required to show that a student is qualified sufficiently to meet the eligibility criteria of the chosen program. Also need a proof of English proficiency.
- Test scores of the IELTs a minimum of 5 or the TOEFL exams a minimum of 500 (for paper based) or a minimum of 173 (computer based) are required.
Note: Any certificate should have been issued within 2 years of the estimated instigation date of your course. Upon submitting the application applicants are also required to submit a copy of their passport. Original passports would only be compulsory for verification. The embassy has the reserve right for asking any other confirmation. Incomplete applications would not be acknowledged .Visa processing takes about three weeks. All regulations consular fees or services are subject to alteration without any previous notice.
