Admission Notice for the session 2013-2014 of Master of Disaster and Human Security Management (MDHSM) Program at Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP)
MDHSM Program:
- Program name: Master of Disaster and Human Security Management (MDHSM) Program.
- Duration: 02 years (4 Semesters, 2 Semesters per year)
- Total Credits: 60
- Class Timing: 9 am to 6 pm (Friday and Saturday)
Eligibility for Admission:
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent in any field.
- Minimum 7 points calculated based on the result of past public examinations, (as per table below)
- Not more than one 3rd division/class or less than GPA/CGPA 2.5 in any public examination.

- Eligible applicants having a score of 1500 or more in SAT Reasoning Test (with at least 500 in Critical Reading and Math and at least 450 in Written section) for MDHSM program and a GMAT score of 550 or above (with minimum 30% in verbal and 50% in quantitative section) for MDHSM program may be exempted from the Written Admission Test.
- For other certificates, equivalence will be determined by equivalence committee of BUP.

Admission Schedule:
- Online Application Submission: 21 September to 22 October, 2013
- Date, Time & Venue of Written test: 25 October, 2013 at 9:00 am at BUP Campus, Mirpur Cantonment.
- Publication List of Eligibility Candidates (Viva): 31 October, 2013
- Viva Voce: 08/09 November, 2013
- Publication of Final Result: 13 November, 2013
- Class Commences: 10 January, 2014
How to Apply:
- Application Processing Fee. Tk. 750/- for MDHSM candidates must be sent through e-money order from any post office or cash deposited at any Trust Bank branch in Admission Account, FTES BUP A/C number 0028-0320000377. For details see BUP Website.
- Submission of Application. Application must be submitted through BUP website.
